There are many bright and talented children out there who for the lack of simple basic tools such as colouring pencils
and crayons never learn to explore all the creativeness that comes from a simple pencil.
The simple feel of pleasure in moulding clay and learning about shapes and colours, and breaking down and starting all over again. These children don't get the opportunity to feel the sense of pride in a job well done.
In the words of William Shakespeare, "The pen is mightier than the sword.". Through supporting education at this basic level, we can give them hope and encouragement and the children will learn to appreciate and respect the bigger things in life through the power of the pen.
You are a gift from God. We all here at Bet-El(90 children) say thank you! thank you! thank you! We will use these to make the most wonderfull pictures. These children can now for the first time enjoy what art is about.
